As personalities mix in the melting pot that is the Big Brother House- who’s heating things up, who’s going to butt heads and who is bonding beautifully?

LOVE IN THE HOUSE
It seems there might be some chemistry stirring. Could love be in the air? Or is it just a fizzer?

Nobbi reckons he’s picked it. He sees Rory and Alice as a potential couple and wasn’t afraid to address it with Rory directly. “A few of us were saying there's some sparks flying between you and good ol’ Al,” Nobbi shared with Rory and a group in the lounge.

“Ooooo,” sung the other Housemates.

Nobbi continued to describe that he saw, “a connection between him and Alice, straight away”. Rory did not deny this and went on to describe how smart Alice must be seeing though she’s a vet.

Could it be love at first sight? Ooooo!

Nobbi was keen to confirm his suspicion and later brought up the subject with Saxon. “I know for sure… Alice and Rory will hook up!”  Nobbi said. “You reckon?” asked Saxon.“Mate, there’s bang bang chemistry,” Nobbi declared.

David also had his eye on Rory and pegged him as the first to get hot and heavy in the House. But David reckons it will be Rory and Rebecca, not Alice.

It seems Alice might be feeling some chemistry too. She spent last night snuggled up very close to Rory in the big Big Brother bed and has taken up the same spot tonight. Maybe it was just a bit chilly? Either way, Rory didn’t seem to mind!

FOREVER FRIENDS
Dixie and Rima immediately bonded on the first night. Chatting up a storm about saucy relationships with men, they got on like a house on fire. The two continued to get closer overnight and when they entered the House, they decided to bunk up right next to one another. In late night whispers, the cheeky duo planned to stir up controversy in the House. It seems these two might just be peas in a pod.

“You’re naughty! You’re bad,” Dixie told Rima, clearly impressed by her cunning plans.
“So are you,” declared Rima.
“We’re so sisters!” announced Dixie. “I think we are going to be great friends in this House!”

Other than Rima and Dixie, it appears Brigitte, Rebecca, Alice, Renee and Travis seem to be sticking together.

There is also a bit of a boy group forming, with Saxon, Nobbi, Rory, Ben and David… all the boys bar Travis.  Somewhat surprisingly, it’s these Housemates that have taken to some serious bitching.

It may all seem almost picture perfect on the surface, but is the honeymoon period about to end?

DON’T BE A HATER
Nominations on the first night brought out the claws in some of the Housemates, and though some were speculating a few of their fellow HMs have been on their best behaviors, true colours are beginning to break through to the surface.

Ben was still nursing his wounds from Nominations, resenting those who put him up for Eviction and lamenting the rocky start. In a late night chat with Saxon, Ben said he might approach David because he doesn’t like how he’s treating him. “He just doesn’t make the time of day for me.  He’s just really arrogant and interrupts me and ignores what I say,” said Ben.

He went on to say he didn’t like Alice very much either. Saxon piped in the bitch session with his disapproval of Brigitte and the looks she’d been giving him.  Both boys agreed, however, Brigitte was “incredibly good looking”.

Dixie joined the boys and added her two cents.  She said that although she’s usually a very tolerant person, “I can see the flame at the end of my rope coming to me sooner”. Saxon agreed and said he thinks everyone’s holding back at the moment.
“I think everyone’s in the same boat … we don’t want to get anyone off side.”

But is that all about to change? Rima’s temper is bubbling.  Ben is still seething.  Rory is stirring Travis. Dixie’s done with Dave’s snoring…

This melting pot might just be close to boiling… already!
