Bianca was fuming after David was the third HM to tell her in his departing message she was too opinionated and had a lot to learn. She had hit her wits end and turned to Terri to vent her frustration.

“With me being opinionated and stuff … I am 18! Give me a break,” seethed Bianca. “People say that about me, that I’m opinionated,” offered Terri. “I’m surprised that you’ve copped it more than I have,” she added, finding some common ground with the young trail blazer.

Bianca was sick of hearing people telling her she had to listen more and not be so narrow-minded. Terri reasoned the two of them were quite alike. “I’ve been hearing that since I was your age darling,” Terri comforted.

Terri and Bianca bonded over their distain for other HMs, especially Corey - who rattled both of their cages. They both agreed they loved listening to other people and gaining an insight into where they were coming from. “That’s why I’m in here to listen to everyone’s two cents,” Bianca argued. But it seems the departed HMs (namely Saxon, Bec and David) do not agree with her.

Bianca tried to shrug off David’s comments, declaring she wouldn’t let it impact her because she had hardly talked to the fireman. But as hard as she tried, she couldn’t let it go and his comments had hit a nerve.

“It’s weird how different people interpret different things,” she lamented. “Because Nate was like, you’re a great kid, you’ve got heaps of opinions, don’t let anyone put you down or don’t care what anyone thinks … And then Dave’s like you’ve got too many opinions and you need to listen to people more. It’s like well, who do you go with?” questioned Bianca.

Terri said she had often found herself in the same boat. “When I was your age, I was similar to you. I had a lot of strong opinions as I still do now,” she shared. Bianca just hung her head.

Rory came to check on Bianca and make sure she was OK. She assured him she was, but after staring to space for a few moments she revealed what was playing on her mind.

“Am I a really unlikeable person?” Bianca inquired. The group assured her she wasn’t unlikeable, but that different people had different opinions. Brigitte offered, “For people that have opinions maybe you are, but I don’t care.” Bianca was clearly fed up and though she said she entered the House to listen, she had reached her quota. “I just keep copping it every single time,” Bianca brooded.

Bianca didn’t know why people just didn’t seem to click with her. She said she had made such an effort to be happier in the House. “I'm a nutcase in real life. I have the worst temper ever. I'm always angry. I'm rarely happy. I’ve been so cheery in here,” Bianca revealed.

Terri tried to offer Bianca some solace. But Bianca decided that if people don’t like her the only option is to try to be someone completely different. “I don’t want to be someone else, but it’s starting to feel like I have to be because no one likes who I am now,” expressed Bianca. Terri told her she felt exactly the same way, but Bianca continued to fume. “I can’t be someone different,” Bianca finally shouted. “That’s it!” interrupted Terri. “Bianca, are you not listening? I’ve lived with that all my life.”

Bianca stopped her rant and turned to Terri, realising that maybe this was exactly what David was talking about. She listened to Terri’s take on the situation. But unfortunately Terri didn’t have any words of wisdom to dig Bianca out of the hole she’d put herself in. “Welcome to my world!” Terri smiled.

Always one to look at the glass half empty (as she has declared before), Terri informed Bianca of a future she could look forward to. “It’s not going to change. It’s going to go on for the rest of your life.”
