Cherry went into the House confident of his abilities with the opposite sex. He has his eyes set to Brigitte but Alice also caught his attention. He had a plan… but it hasn’t been going the way he had planned.
“I’m up the creek without a paddle. I’ve boxed myself,” Cherry confided to BB in the Diary Room. “’Cause I do think Alice is hot but obviously I did come in here thinking Brigitte was smokin’… so I’ve been trying to sort of get in there and tap that. It’s sort of turned to shit but … Brigitte’s just a hard nut to crack,” Cherry mused. He’d been using every move in his little black book to try and tune the Paris Wannabe. “It’s the biggest mission in the world!” he declared.
Cherry told BB he had been playing hard to get with Brigitte but he may have stuck his foot in it at the House Dinner, saying if he could hook up with anyone it would be Alice. He confessed that he wanted to choose two girls but had to pick one. “So I thought I’d throw it out and say I do like Alicee.” Cherry’s game plan with Brigitte is “Treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen” and before entering the House, he confessed he would probably pay attention to another girl to keep Brigitte guessing. What he wasn’t counting on, was the HMs’ total attention when one HM expresses interest in another!
Cherry explained he was worried that the HMs were all talking about him and Alice getting together. He liked Brigitte but wasn’t sure anything would eventuate there. The man couldn’t make his mind up. In another area of the House, Alice was admitting to Renee that she found the Sexy Surfer very attractive.
“I know it’s going to come to pinch and shit’s going to hit the fan,” lamented Cherry. “I’m up the creek, man!” Cherry said he wasn’t expecting Alice to name him as her crush and things were a bit weird. “I hope I’m not playing with fire. I hope I’m not playing with people’s feelings,” he confessed. The GC lad just wanted a bit of action he didn’t want to upset anyone in the process… at least, not anyone female!
He was determined to try harder with Brigitte to see if he stood a chance. “I need to crack Brigitte a bit more and it will be on mate,” Cherry said to BB. But he did admit that it had been a lot harder than he thought to get the attention of the beautiful blonde.
BB posed the question, “How do you rate your chances with Brigitte?” Cherry wasn’t sure and hadn’t encountered this problem in the past. “I just think she’s not interested in anything!” he complained, even speculating that perhaps Brigitte wasn’t interested in males in general! “I don’t know… she’s a bit weird or something,” Cherry reasoned, perhaps thinking that could be the only reason a hot blooded woman could resist his charms. “It’s a lot different than what I thought,” He revealed. “Now I can see why no one’s been trying to give it a crack - because she’s pretty stand off-ish.”
In the outside world, Cherry informed BB he’s usually able to work around these little problems somehow and get his game on, but in the House it wasn’t that simple. However, the ever-competitive Cherry was up for the challenge and wasn’t ready to give up on Brigitte yet.
“Do you feel you’ve broken he ice?” posed BB. “Yeah! I’ve got water coming out of it!” Cherry grinned. He said at first, Brigitte wouldn’t even talk to him but now she’s saying full sentences, so he’s definitely making progress. “It’s going alright, a bit of footsies here and there… it’s gotta be leading to something,” Cherry reasoned. He hoped that Brigitte wasn’t evicted this week, as he thought her upcoming birthday party would be a great time to bring out his best moves. “Things could get pretty creepy there,” Cherry told BB. (FYI: “creepy” does not refer to being frightening or sinister – rather, it is a Gold Coast term for getting your groove on. Word up!)
BB asked Cherry if had to choose between the two girls, who would he pick? What a conundrum. On one hand, Cherry thought Alice was really nice and down-to-earth, and then on the other, he had Brigitte - who he’d describe as really hot, a ‘trophy girl.’
“I’ve got to work out a sneaky kiss somewhere,” Cherry said of his next move. He wasn’t sure about his chances, but said he was just going to push on. He told BB he was confident he could get a kiss - he just had to have the guts to go up and do it. But the aftermath may be a bit ‘howz ya going,’ Cherry admitted.
He pleaded with BB to help him out on his Casanova cause. “We need a bit more stuff that’s going to lead to action,” Cherry urged BB. “I think you’ve depriving me of these little privileges and you need to boost this up.”
BB just wished Cherry good luck and sent him on his way. Alone on his quest for love, Cherry has his work cut out for him.
