“I reckon she’s a fake piece of shit.” Cherry said to Nobbi yesterday, opening a discussion about Rhianna and not holding back on his true feelings.
Nobbi looked at him in amazement, slightly astounded and slightly impressed with his unreserved opinion. Cherry added that he was disgusted with Rory’s doting attention of the Yummy Mummy who was, in his opinion, not yummy at all. “Rory’s on the tune, just agreeing with everything she says,” he observed. “Why? Why is he so in love with her?” Cherry continued. “I don’t even find her hot!” declared Nobbi.
“I just don’t like her,” Cherry frankly announced. He explained to Nobbi that he believes she not only looks fake but has a fake personality. He admitted he was planning on bringing up his feelings towards Rhianna at the family dinner that night. “I will rip it,” he said. “I’ll say, ‘I don’t think I get along with you I think you’re fake piece of shit’,” Cherry declared. “I’m not a fan either, I find her boring,” Nobbi added.
Cherry told Nobbi he hates that Rhianna talks in detail about all the men she’s been with. He said he’s sure her daughter doesn’t want to hear about sexually graphic things she’s done with various partners.
Nobbi reasoned, “Its weird isn’t it? You’re in here for a couple of weeks and you just get bored with some people - don’t like some people.” But Cherry wasn’t finished. “She’s so deadest on the staightener, she’s so deadset on things that she can’t get,” he ranted. Earlier in the day, Rhianna had openly chastised Nobbi for not buying the hair straightener in this week’s vending machine and the boys had told her to toughen up and “get over it.” Both now expressed they couldn’t believe her obsession with the implement.
Cherry went so far as to give Rhianna the nickname of ‘shit girl.’ It got to a point when even Nobbi questioned him, “Has she done anything to you or not?” Cherry shrugged. “Nah, just her opinions piss me off. I don’t like her.”
That night at dinner, Cherry let Rhianna have it, explaining he thought she was fake. Rhianna bit back and defended her obvious attraction to Rory, telling the table she enjoyed sex and would have sex with Rory that night if it were not for her daughter.
But that did little to quell Cherry’s dislike. He decided to spend the night in the Kombi with Nobbi and the two openly discussed their dislike of Rhianna. Inside, she had found comfort in the arms of her Brickie.
After a night of passion under the covers with Rory, Rhianna awoke to find Cherry’s loathing of her had grown. At around 11:30 this morning in the Locker Room, Rhianna decided to confront Cherry about what he had said last night at the dinner table. “So Cherry, when did you start to hate me?” she said to kick off the conversation. “’Cause I don’t think we’ve even had a decent conversation that allows you to make the judgment on whether or not you like me,” she finished. “I don’t think I deserve to be hated.”
“It’s just all come on,” said Cherry in return. “But what brought it on?” asked Rhianna. “Just little traits of yours,” he said. “Such as?” she questioned. Cherry explained he didn’t think the two of them had anything in common. With Travis, Brigitte and Terrence watching on awkwardly, the duo silently continued getting dressed. Travis made an awkward joke that he and Brigitte had also been confronted at the family dinner. “It’s just wrong,” said Rhianna forcefully. “I think it’s really silly.” She continued to apply mascara as she addressed Cherry again. “I don’t know if it’s just because you’re really competitive, and this is some sort of stupid game that you’re playing? I don’t know…”
“It’s not a stupid game, I just hate you.” Cherry returned, clearly annoyed and frustrated. He looked directly at Rhianna while she continued to apply makeup and stare in the mirror. “We have nothing in common … and I think you’re a fake person.”
“Fair enough, we can’t all like each other in here!” said Rhianna and an awkward silence crept between them. Travis broke it by striking up a conversation on face wash. Cherry left the Locker Room and entered the shower area.
“Now I know why Brigitte wishes death upon some people,” Rhianna muttered. “Why?” Bianca (who had just arrived) asked. “When they’re assholes,” Rhianna said, still applying mascara. “Don’t compare yourself,” said Rory comfortingly, who had just entered the room.
A short time later, the Sexy Surfer told Travis, “I’m not going to hide [my feelings towards Rhianna.] I’ll tell her straight up. She’ll be the one pondering on things – not me.”
“Do you still talk to her?” Travis asked. “I’ll still talk to her and stuff – I just told her I didn’t like her,” Cherry explained. “I won’t exclude her out of conversations and stuff, because I get along with everyone in the House but her.”
