HMs screamed when they were called to the Lounge, assuming the secret spy saga was going to unfold. “Well, whoever you are mole I’m still going to like you after you’re revealed,” Travis admitted. “Well I’m not,” Bianca fired back, bitter about the whole situation.

“HM as you know there is a mole in the House…” BB announced, “… a HM who is not who they say they are. The time has come for you to uncover their identity.”

Rory was the first cab of the rank. “After much thinking over the past few days … I’ve come to the conclusion that the mole is, Brigitte.” He thought there was too many things throughout their time in the House that pointed to her; he cited the Princess Sparkles debacle, the clothes incident and he also thought that a few FNLs had been rigged in her favour. He had previously noted that Brigitte couldn’t have possibly beaten him on an equal playing field.

“What the hell do we know about Brigitte? She doesn’t talk at all!” Rory appealed to the group. “There are too many logical reasons that point to Brigitte that I can’t get past … A lot of us came I here to go against stereotypes and Brigitte is a typical over the top ditzy blonde,” The Brickie stated.

Brigitte sat quietly, not shocked by the revelation but seemingly a bit hurt. Alice was next to state her case, she looked at Brigitte for empathy.

Alice breathed heavily, the weight of the decision pressing down on her shoulders. “Rima I think the mole is Bridgey,” Alice announced. Brigitte was rocked and held back tears that were creeping up on her. “I hope it’s not you but I think its you,” Alice told her. Alice said she’d been in a whirlwind over the past couple of days trying to work the mystery out but reasoned that group decisions have helped her to come to the conclusion. “I don’t know everything about Bridgey despite her being the closest person to me in here,” Alice revealed. She also talked about Brigitte’s stereotypical character and said it was a character that was easy to fall into. “That’s pretty much my gut feeling,” Alice concluded. “Thanks Al,” Brigitte mumbled under her breath, upset at the betrayal by her friend.

Brigitte took the floor, clearly rocked by the group’s accusing fingers pointing in her direction. “Well, I think I’m the mole because I am,” she offered weakly. “Really?” Rory questioned. “No,” retorted Brigitte. “I just want everyone to pick me because I know it’s not me,” she argued. “Are you for real? Is that your answer?” raised Alice. “I actually don’t think the mole is anyone,” Brigitte admitted. Alice told her she had to make a decision.

Brigitte was stumped and couldn’t come up with an answer, the group was angry and confused that she had tried to choose herself. “I want everyone to pick me so then I can just laugh at you all,” Brigitte explained. HMs made her pick so she said Bianca, then thought again and chose Alice arguing she was ‘phoney baloney’ and a “bad friend.”

It was Bianca’s turn to say her piece. “I tried to tackle this logically and literally,” Bianca revealed. When it came to Brigitte, in Bianca’s eyes, the evidence pointed to her being the mole. Jumping on Rory’s reasons, Bianca reiterated what he had said. According to Bianca, Brigitte was a stereotype and a “blonde bimbo.” She also argued Brigitte was given so many exemptions and second chances.

Travis was not keen to accuse anyone of being the mole. He was struggling before he even started. “OK, I’ve got to say it before I get upset,” he said, trying to stay composed. “I think after talking to everyone…” HMs told him to just spit it out. “I don’t think that there is a mole,” Travis blurted, as his voice started to crack. “Say it Travis,” Terri urged. “I can feel tears coming, so I’ve got to suppress the tears,” he informed her. Finally, he said Brigitte’s name. Brigitte shot back they weren’t friends anymore because he was choosing her. “Don’t say that,” Travis said. He could no longer hold the tears at bay. He began to cry and rubbed his eyes, retreating quickly to his seat.

Rima was on the edge of her seat as she saw Travis pulled apart by the emotion of the situation. It may have all been a game, but HMs were taking it to heart.

“It’s OK,” Brigitte consoled, putting her arm around her friend as he sat beside her. “It’s horrible to have to do this,” Travis cried. “This game is so shit,” fired a very angry Bianca. “Don’t let it get too personal Travis,” insisted Rima. “It’s just part of the game,” appealed Ben and Terri, almost in unison.

Terri went with the group consensus and Brigitte’s House Mum announced she suspected her once would-be daughter was a mole. “Simply because I feel that she has done a lot of things in here that we would have got strikes for,” she explained talking about Brigitte’s tantrums. Brigitte tried to remain tough but written all over her face was exactly how she felt. She was broken, all her HMs had turned against her and as much as she said it didn’t matter, she was clearly hurt.

“You’re my only friend left - are you going to say me?” Brigitte appealed to Cherry. In return, he was silent, he didn’t look his friend in the eye, nor answer the question.

In the case of the House vs Brigitte, Ben argued the side of the plaintiff. “Sorry Brigitte to say you,” he muttered. Ben said that one thing he thinks the fellow HMs had missed in their evaluation was voting and nominations. Ben said Brigitte hadn’t been in the bottom three when the public voted, and that meant she must be the mole. “I think it all comes down and adds up to Brigitte,” Ben stated.

“You’re all bad at maths and I can’t wait until BB tells you it’s not me and we’re all sitting here next to the mole,” Brigitte offered.

Brigitte’s last friend and the last HM to reveal his suspicion, Cherry had to inform the group of his choice. “Over the last couple of days there have been two people that have been really close,” he began. “I’m going with gut feeling and gut feeling was Alice,” he uncovered. Alice smiled and Bridge breathed a sigh of relief. Cherry, at least, she could still count as a friend.

“This is BB, Rima to the DR,” BB’s voice boomed throughout the House. Rima marched out of the House, flashing an conspiring grin to the HMs as she strolled through the DR door.

What was to come? A WHOLE lot!
