The Great Debate

In the beginning, there was Travis … and some very confused Housemates. On the first night there was much hushed discussion about Travis’ sexual orientation. Travis shed light on the matter by telling his fellow HMs that he was, in fact, straight. The Housemates continued to speculate that Travis might actually be firmly in the closet but as time wore on – Travy proved them wrong and, if anything, had the last laugh: remaining proud of his personality in the face of their taunts.

The Spa Incident

Travis had his fair share of lows in the House but his lowest – by far! – was the falling out between himself, the boys and Alice over a carefully-fired ‘Truth or Dare’ question designed to make The Voice sweat. There were tears all round as Travis had to remove himself from the spa and break down in the Bedroom, only to be comforted by Cherry. Strong and determined, Travis picked himself up but was sure to distance himself from the boys. It took him a while to pull himself back together but he emerged stronger – and more assertive – for it.

Sparkle Time

Who knew that one plush toy could generate so much fun? Princess Sparkles and Travis’ powers combined to form not only the infamous Sparkle Gang but also the coveted ‘Sparkle Out’ that Style King Carson Kressley described as being, “gayer than I am.” While it did arise in more heckling for Travis, he got the last laugh when Carson ‘Sparkled Out’ on his next visit to the House – and it helped promote the popularity of Sparkles and cement Travis’ reign as the House’s brightest and most bubbly star!

Possumism

Ah yes, the catch word of this year’s House! A crazy cross between ‘positive’ and ‘optimistic,’ Travis encouraged all the Housemates to “embrace their possumism” and “remain possumistic” in the face of some of the House’s harder knocks.

Grooming

While some Housemates complained about their excessive down-time in the House, it was Travis who was always up for creating some do drama. From Travy’s holey hairstyle to his famous hairy, man-pants, there wasn’t a grooming style that this experimental personal assistant wasn’t too ashamed to sport. Or get rid of. Self-proclaimed metrosexual Ben taught Travis to ‘embrace the razor’ and rid himself of some of his excessive body hair. The hairless stream-lined look suited Travy and he worked his new look like a style king. Yes, Carson would’ve been proud!
