Surprise Sunrise Snap Eviction
The ominous dawn bell that tolled on the Housemates’ first morning in the Big Brother House announced the first ever Snap Eviction. Terri watched as Housemate after Housemate lodged a Nomination in her name, resulting in her premature exit from the BB game. But all was not lost: this tough Nan fired on all pistons when she roared back into the House … but not everyone was happy to see her return. Namely, Nobbi who’s string of abuse resulted in quite possibly the longest bleep of the season!
Terri & Brigitte Sitting In A Tree
While these two weren’t k-i-s-s-i-n-g, they were very much b-o-n-d-i-n-g. The pair shared a mutual dislike of each other early in the piece but managed to find a common ground on which they could both stand comfortably. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, the ground began to grow beneath them and soon this odd couple was spending quite a bit of time together. Brigitte nicknamed Terri ‘Terrah’ and soon ‘Terrah’ was teaching Bridgey how to knit! They were the best of friends and the worst of enemies but at the end of the day there was such genuine affection between the two that it couldn’t be called anything but love!
Grey Nomads
Speaking of love, Terri was given ‘a-hunk, a-hunk, a-burning lurve’ in the form of Terrence. While there was no romantic flame to speak of, there were fireworks. The two bonded over their age but actually came to blows over their respective opinions of Generation Y. Tez – based on her experience in the House – stuck up for the kids while Terrence occupied himself by telling jokes and sharing stories from yesteryear. Terri sided with the younger half and was one of the many who told Terrence to pipe down. Still, Terri had a number of deep conversations with the Soapbox Dad and shared a great deal of laughs but did not miss her four-wheeled confines when Terrence was Evicted and released the gran back into the House as part of his Housemate Hand Grenade.
Toyboy Terri
It was established very early on that Terri had a penchant of males of the younger ilk. This grandma’s blood still run hot and she let the entire House know it! She admitted her fondness for Rory and confessed that she was partial to seeing the Brickie in his revealing, red g-string! Woo! Webmates Barney and Nathan also raised this lass’s eyebrow, as did Sexy Surfer Cherry - but it was Rory who her owned her heart most.
No More Negative Nana
Terri entered the House as someone who quite proudly saw life as a glass half-empty. Although she didn’t expect to grow close to anyone in the House, Terri did. She formed close attachments to everyone (even Nobbi!) and through these bonds she learnt to see the world more favourably. And while her glasses aren’t quite rose-tinted just yet, they’re definitely a little brighter.
