Topic number two had rocked the HMs world – so, did they do the wrong thing voting Terri out? The general consensus was it was a task that was set and a decision had to be made. Done and dusted, with the ever-impatient David aching to dispel any disputes and get the meeting over and done with as soon as possible.
The third BB question was raised – the horrible ‘F’ word.
Are Housemates being fake? Everyone except one HM announced they were being completely themselves in the House, though many admitted they were going into the House to reaffirm exactly who that was.
Saxon, however, said he came into the Big Brother House to change himself.
“Okay, I’m going to be honest with youse, this isn’t normally how I am,” he revealed. “I’m normally a bit of a bastard. I don’t like the person I used to be.”
He confessed that if they were on the outside, he wouldn’t give half the HMs the time of day. The Housemates were shocked, and many said they would have never pinned Saxon to be a mean type of person.
“I’m just trying to tell you guys how it is, I’m not gonna lie to youse,” Saxon shrugged.
Housemates commended Saxon for his honesty saying that maybe under everything, he is the nice guy he appears to be. “I hope so,” Saxon agreed.
The sleeping situation, topic four, didn’t cause too much of a stir - except for some Housemates voicing concerns about hygiene when sleeping in such an intimate environment. Ben wasn’t standing for flatulence or stinking feet!
There was a resounding ‘no’ in response to topic five, when Alice asked the Housemates whether they think they have really got to know each other yet. It seems there is still much more to be revealed for these new Housemates!
Topic six - where will they all be in ten years? It seems Brigitte could sum it all up in one sentence. “In ten years time everyone will have jobs and families and Bianca will have smaller boobs and I will have bigger boobs!” Prophetic words, perhaps?
Sadly for HM-in-exile Nobbi, the seventh question – how much sympathy the HMs were feeling for him - passed by pretty quickly. All agreed that although it may not be ideal, he is still part of the Big Brother experience and things could be worse.
Nobbi was still feeling out of the loop and while the HMs were debating hot issues in the House, he sat in his Kombi Diary Room complaining to Big Brother. “Why are you doing this to me?” Nobbi demanded of Big Brother. “Where do you get off doing this to me?!”
Back in the House, there was one more questions to be tackled. How did the Housemates feel about people being judged by what clothes they wear?
This was Brigitte’s question which she openly admitted. “Everyone judges me because I wear short dresses,” Brigitte told the group. She explained people often think she’s a “skank” because of how she dresses without even getting to know her.
Rebecca understood where Brigitte was coming from, and admitted she too had been subject of a lot of judgment based on her appearance.
The group pondered motives for these judgments. “I think it’s a big jealously thing,” Rebecca speculated.
Bianca disagreed, yet Rory thought some people were just plain old mean. Rima told the girls if they feel confident in what they’re wearing, than good on them - but they should be mindful of others who may not feel so comfortable in their own skin.
The boys were getting restless and the group began to tire. The girls came to the conclusion that people judge others, some are jealous, some are mean and you can’t avoid it.
Alice took charge of the restless HMs, and brought the attention back to the Housemate with the itchiest feet of all. “Okay guys, I think we’ve all stimulated some important topics of conversation … I guess right now we should all go and chat with Nobbi.”
But although the official discussion had finished, the deep and meaningful debates were not over. Smaller groups broke off as Brigitte and Rebecca bonded over how hard it is being beautiful, while Dixie and Renee discussed neighbourly ways.
