Love is in the air in the Big Brother House! Lucy (of Katie & Lucy fame) has been a very busy bee today, Rapunzelling her hair extensions, making bffs on the hour every hour, and booty-bronzing by the pool.
How she found time to set resident firefighter Caleb’s heart alight is anybody’s guess, but it appears she’s a pretty kitty he’d definitely climb a tree for. After yesterday’s spa shenanigans and today’s couch canoodling, it looks like they’ll be hitting the bleach together before we know it.
Not to be outdone, Princess Jade couldn’t decide who to set her sights on today. With Prince Charming’s birthday kiss lingering, she spent much of the afternoon sharing travel stories and googly glances with Ed. Ex-fake-husband Drew also got a slice of the pie in the style of some good old fashioned schoolyard flirting and hand-holding games. But it wasn’t just young romance heating up the House; there was some serious friction too!
Latecomer Rohan had best shape up in the Safe House or he just might find himself shipped halfway out next week. His laziness is starting to grate like Tim’s stolen carrots, and even our resident SNAG Caleb has detected some button-pushing. Could the HMs’ conspiracy theories that he’s some sort of mole hold any truth?
Meanwhile, across The Divide, there are whispers nice-guy Matthew mightn’t be as straightforward as he seems. Jasmin warned the Halfways to be wary of his surveillance tactics, even suggesting that he might be a competent lip reader. “He sits back and he watches. Even when he has his eyes closed, he’s listening,” she cautioned. There were new lessons learnt, too. Xavier for one will forever double check the toilet door is locked after being caught by Tahan with his pants down – literally.
Big Brother’s second Showdown extravaganza took place tonight, with the HMs again competing for $5000 cash, a Nominations Superpower, and a night for two in the Presidential Suite. Of course there could only be one winner, and tonight, the HMs were reminded that the first mouse doesn’t necessarily get the cheese.
