“It is time to meet your biggest threat, voted number one by the Australian public,” announced Big Brother. “Michael.”
“Hello people,” greeted Michael with a smile, as he made his way into the backyard.
“I’ve seen this guy in concert!” Ben said excitedly, realising he knew Michael’s band. From afar, Rebecca gave Michael the onceover.
Upon discovering he has another South Australian native in his ranks, Saxon was stoked – and the fact another tattooed lad has joined the BB House also leant Michael even further in Saxon’s favour.
Ben and Travis give Michael the grand tour. “It is seriously so much fun here,” enthused Rebecca to Barney in the backyard.
The girls were impressed to discover Nathan's a physiotherapist, to soothe their muscles after the vigorous workouts they’d been enjoying during the week. Alice raised her eyebrows, impressed, as Nathan listed his other roles. Nobbi excitedly talked Nathan through his FNL glory - then disappointment.
Michael and Barney tested the seesaw, somewhat unsuccessfully, but Brigitte and Travis took to the seesaw like ducks to water.
The Spa Mafia boys wasted no time inducting Barney into their clan, while outside, Big Brother was biding his time, preparing his ultimate surprise.
The Housemates’ jaws hit the ground as the most controversial party boy in Australia, Corey, strode through the gates with his sunglasses hanging off his pocket. “Sunnies, you’re not wearing them?” asked David.
Caught off guard, the Housemates couldn’t hide the obvious shock and surprise from their faces. Standing uncomfortably and obviously nervous, Saxon was the first to break the ice with their new Houseguest, introducing himself and offering his hand. Always ‘possimistic’, Travis gave Corey a welcoming brief embrace.
An overwhelming sense of awkwardness came over the Housemates. Again, Saxon was the one to pick up the slack, and he offered Corey a tour of the House. “Don’t worry about them,” he advised, as he led Corey into the House.
Big Brother checked in to see how the House was adapting to their new additions – and drop the final bomb.
“This is Big Brother. Housemates, how are you enjoying your party?”
Sensing BB was not quite finished the evening’s festivities, the Housemates listened carefully, and BB explained some of the details surrounding Corey’s stay in the House.
“He is a minor, he requires an experienced mind. BB cannot see many suitable options.” A look of dread passed over Nobbi’s face, and the Housemates were frozen in anticipation. “I swear if she comes in,” started Nobbi, preempting visions of Terri. “Do you know how much I’d cop it?” With only moments to process the possibility of Terri’s return to the House, Nobbi’s worst nightmare was now a reality.
“Please welcome back Terri!” announced Big Brother.
BB’s oldest ever Housemate experienced a little déjà vu as she entered the backyard, for the second time in a week.
Rory offered Nobbi a consoling hug, and Renee also tried to comfort her shell shocked Housemate.
“That’s so stiff,” complained Nobbi.
Terri wasted no time to hit up Ben over hisNomination, and the fact he wanted he used her a scapegoat because he’d entered the House to get away from his mother.
Corey took the opportunity to get acquainted with his new surroundings, and he wandered around the House alone, checking out each room.
“Poor little bugger, he looks so frightened,” Terri commented on their new Houseguest's state of mind.
Terri called him over. “I’m not that bad,” she said, attempting to make Corey more comfortable.
By the spa, Bianca was struggling to accept Corey’s presence in the House, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. “People always make assumptions about me and I hate it,” she resolved.
“You can’t judge a book by its cover, as you always say,” reminded Saxon.
Arms around each other, Saxon and Bianca wandered back to the rest of the Housemates, a House drastically changed with three new Housemates and two new Housemates to get acquainted with.
What is Terri’s mission in the House? Will she be back to stay? Or will Nobbi be put out of his misery?
