Michael
Labelled ‘the biggest threat’ during last night’s Gatecrash, Michael seemed to think the title earned him some sort of special privilege. Namely, a holiday. While all the other Housemates cleaned up a trashed backyard to pass the week’s first task, Michael sat back and watched. “See I’m not that good at cleaning but I’m good at watching everyone get it done,” he said.
Bonding more with the boys, Michael has found it hard to connect with the girls. In the first impression stakes Michael didn’t to too well with the House’s female sect, Terri grilled him about his lifestyle and Brigitte called him a freak.
Prediction: Michael will find a way to infiltrate the Spa Mafia. A prankster, a stirrer and far gutsier than current self-elected Godfather David, it shouldn’t be too long before the boys start answering to this ‘new sheriff in town’.
Nathan
If Nathan was trying to make a cool entrance, he failed. Arriving with more ‘fizz’ than ‘bang’, the Housemates (including Travis) gave him plenty of stick as he introduced himself to the group.
Gravitating towards the outskirts of the group, Nathan has made friends with Terri and Travis. The trio made a cute posse in the kitchen this morning as they whipped up some breakfast. Nathan, or Nate (although this nickname has not caught on), opened up to Terri about his mother’s death as he helped Travis bake bread.
The extra conversation time he put in with the girls has earned him brownie points in the lurve department. Renee said she thought Nathan was hot. “I like him!” she told the Housemates.
Prediction: How will Renee cope when she discovers Nathan is not so experienced in the love department? She has previously professed that she couldn’t be with someone who is a virgin. Will it make a difference? Or are we on the verge of an epic romance?
Barney
Laughing off comments that he looks like an estranged member of ‘The Brady Bunch’, Barney seems to be an all-round nice guy. So far, he’s split his time in the House equally between the boys and the girls.
Announced as the ‘third biggest threat’, the bronze-ranking didn’t seem to bother resident lifesaver Barney who was more concerned with the lack of pool in the Big Brother House. Although no words have been spoken, there has been suggestion that Alice may have found her long-desired crush.
Prediction: Earthy and charismatic, he may not buy into the Spa Mafia’s politics.
The boys will most likely be threatened by this new addition. With another six pack in town, expect to see the boys hit the spa less and the gym more.
