The Balinese holiday-makers were just settling in to their resort-style abode when they got a call on their BB mobile.
“Hello! Alice speaking! Who could this be?”
“Alice, it’s Big Brother.”
“Hello BB! Fancy hearing from you,” Alice sung.
Big Brother played it cool. “How are you?” he asked.
“Oh we are excellente! We’re terrific! We’re great!” Alice gushed.
“What’s been the highlight of your trip so far?” Big Brother asked.
“Oh the highlight of the trip would have to be for me I think the … The food’s been amazing. Having people cook [with] such care amazing food and just giving it to us,” Alice cooed. “Rolling in, rolling out and all we have to do is go bed, food, lounge, pool, bed, food, lounge, pool. It’s become a routine.”
“How’s the weather?” Big Brother enquired.
“The weather’s gorgeous! Yesterday – as I said – a little bit of a tropical spell. A few clouds decided to say ‘hello’ but we said kindly ‘if you don’t mind we’ll say hello another day.’” The other HMs crowded around her, giggling along with the giddy tone of her relaxed conversation.
Big Brother asked after Renee and the country lass told her faceless caller that although they were having a swell time, they were a little perturbed by the strange “wildlife” they could hear “over the wall.”
“They’re definitely wild,” Rory agreed in his chat with BB. And when asked what he planned to tell his fellow HMs about what they experienced in Bali, Rory gave a cheeky reply.
“We haven’t come to a definite conclusion what we’re going to tell the wildlife over the wall when we go back,” he revealed. “But I’m sure we’ll make up some kind of interesting story no matter what it is.”
David admitted he had often thought of the family back in the BB House especially when the Bali Bunch were “dining on luscious food and sipping red wine.”
Then came the words none of them wanted to hear. “Unfortunately time has moved very fast for you,” announced BB. “It is time for you and your fellow Housemates to pack your bags.”
“No!” David moaned. “How long do we have Big Brother?”
“You have half an hour,” Big Brother announced. “Your flight will depart in thirty minutes.”
