Hitting the hay immediately after arriving at the Dump, the Dumpsters later woke to the sounds of the bikers roaring through the BB compound. How did they spend their first day at the dump?

1pm: Nobbi wonders about his Eviction Twist

“If I can save or not save on Monday right, if I’m satisfied with the bottom three I hope I get the option that I don’t have to save anyone,” Nobbi announced to his Dumpsters. “I reckon I would leave the bottom three unless someone I’m really close to is in there.”

Ben was mystified. “Why is that? So no one close to you falls in?” he wondered, and Nobbi confirmed he was on the money.

1:32pm: Games are located

Rifling through the trash, Rory stumbles upon a deck of cards and a checker set. The Dumpsters continue to explore what else BB has left at the Dump – and find everything from beanies with ear muffs to enough bits and pieces to set up a ping pong table. Card games ensue, and the boys endeavour to teach Bianca how to play poker.

3:13pm: Nobbi is declared the unluckiest Housemate of them all

As the Dumpsters ate their lunch, Rory laughed at Nobbi’s run of bad luck so far: getting Terri’s Housemate Hand Grenade and ending up in the Kombi, winning Zimbabwean dollars as his first FNL prize, and now, the trip to the Dump. “This shit always happens with you Nob,” Rory pointed out. “Yeah I know,” Nobbi agreed. “I’m not the luckiest guy in the BB House.” The Dumpsters agree Renee is definitely the Housemate enjoying a brilliant streak of luck, as she enjoyed the luxurious, Balinese paradise and scored a trip to New York.

3:18pm: Despite their surroundings, Bianca is stoked to be with the boys

After eating lunch, Bianca couldn’t wipe the sour puss off her face. “At least you’re hanging with the boys,” pointed out Nobbi. “It’s better than the girls,” she agreed.
Nobbi announced he would have loved to see the girls staying at the Dump, in particular, Alice and Terri.

“I don’t think it would affect Alice,” Rory remarked, and adjusted his voice to a high falsetto. “She’d just be like ‘OK girls, let’s make the most of it’.”

“She actually is one of those chicks who would have full been a teachers pet,” Ben continued. “She tries to be BB’s pet. ‘That’s so funny Big Brother’,   ‘Thank you Big Brother’, ‘Never in 25 years have I been called untrustworthy’.”

3:34pm Ben complains to BB

“Here we’re living like jerks for doing nothing wrong,” Ben whined. “I’m being punished for being Nobbi’s friend. I know I shouldn’t condone that behaviour but all he did was win FNL.”

3:39pm Nobbi gets some perspective

In the Dump’s makeshift Diary Room, Nobbi revealed their time in the Dump so far made him appreciate life in the Kombi. “I just want to thank you for my prize, because now I appreciate how good living in the House is, compared to living in a Dump,” Nobbi told BB. “I’m still tired but I’m not as angry anymore because I was just bitter about getting another bad prize. If I look at this in four or five months time, it’s pretty funny.”

5:07pm: Dumpsters get creative

The Dumpsters use a little creativity to get the afternoon going, and devise their own ‘dare’ card game. The Dumpsters each choose a dare to accompany a selected card, and the dares range from Rory telling Rhianna how much he missed her (which he had planned to do anyway) and Ben wearing one of Bianca’s bras for a day. Unfortunately for Ben, he lost.

7:17pm: Dinner is served in the Dump

Stoked with the stew and warm bread they have been served for dinner, the Dumpsters eagerly dig into their meal, which gets rave reviews. “This is food,” enthused Rory, noting the meal reminded him of what his mother cooks at home.

Despite their initial misgivings, is life in the Dump not too bad? With ping pong, cards and their closest friends, will the Dumpsters begin to enjoy their life on the other side of the BB fence?
