The shock of Renee’s Eviction was succeeded only by the warning embedded in her words: trust nobody. She told the Housemates to get their game face on because the fun and laughter is over.

“Hi Housemates,” Renee appeared on the plasma screens.  “Clearly I’m Evicted. Cheers for that.”

The Housemates fell quiet, Renee was not happy and the HMs eagerly leant forward on the couch to find out why.

“All I have to say is that as soon as you’re on this side, it’s a game,” Renee warned. “So treat it like a game on the inside because I was too naïve.

“The only comment I’d make on the general House is that a majority of ya’s are saying that you are saying it to your face but y’not. Just be aware of who y’trusting and who y’not. It’s a dog-eat-dog game. There’s a fair bit of backstabbing going on, which a lot of youse found out this week, so keep on your toes and it treat it like a game.”

The Housemates eyed each other off but their attention was soon pulled back to the plasmas when Renee started dealing out her personal messages.

“Benny Boy. Probably wouldn’t go to Perth to visit ya – too far away for me … Don’t just come out of your shell when you drink alcohol man, be straight up all the time ‘cause you’re awesome for it.

“Travis I think you really should stand up to the fellas.” Travis looked blankly at the group. “If they try and push you over, stand up and tell ‘em to stick it.

“Terri you’re a champion, you’re outlasting all the young ones. Good on ya. All the best here.

“Brigitte – you and I are worlds apart. I would not cross you in the normal world whatsoever. I also think you’re a bit of Daddy’s girl.”

“A Mummy’s girl,” Brigitte corrected.

“Rory, you and I are we got along pretty well. The hugging thing – yeah – you could tell that I wasn’t fully into it but we did it anyway. This week we haven’t got along, we’ve been bickering heaps. It happens.

“Nobbi – my friend – sleeping in the Kombi was awesome. You’re a cool dude. I think you’ve hurt some people this week. You were nasty to Al and Travy. I don’t where it’s coming from. We’ve talked about you being the observer and stuff. I wouldn’t say you’re playing the game but you’re definitely there to cause trouble.

“Terrence you’re a champion, you’re my favourite Intruder from the start – well probably not now – but you are cool. I think you’re hilarious. But like I said if I was to talk to you for long periods of time I’d have to concentrate and it’d hurt my head.

“Rhianna. First impressions: I thought you were a girly girl. Didn’t want a bar of ya’. After getting to know ya, you’re kinda like me deep down. I think you’re an awesome chick. All the best hey, hope you win this thing.

“Cherry. Pretty boy. You know you’re hot. Flirting with Bridge. I dunno you’re a cool dude. I don’t like the fact that you are good looking and your a nice guy cos that means that they are out there and that sucks cause I haven’t had one. You’re a cool dude. Go all the way.”

“Bianca. We had our tiff this week. Yeah, we know this. You’re an awesome chick. Don’t put all your trust in people, be a bit wary, you’re switched on but you’re definitely a hot-head like me. Try and not lose your cool because it doesn’t you any favours. Just stick to your guns and do what you gotta do but don’t let anyone sway you into thinking one thing or the other.

“Bianca I think you’ve been influenced by the boys. You’ve been kicking around with them this week and I’m not sure it’s doing you favours or not. Just wise up.

“Alice!” Renee’s face broke into a smile. “You’re a top chick. Just stay strong in the House man cause I don’t know who you’re going to trust. You’re a good person.

“Alice I bet we both know who you’re enemies are. A little bit of Nob … just make sure you’re straight with him. Don’t listen to second hand information. Just confront him. Run at him with both hands.”

Nobbi looked worried but Renee wasn’t finished, she still had to launch her Housemate Hand Grenade. And boy, was it a beauty!
