I DON’T THINK SO …
Housemates thought they knew how Sunday’s Eviction was going to play out: 1 FNL twist … 3 HMs forced to stand in front of the Eviction Door … 10 goodbyes … 1 Evictee. But they were wrong.
Big Brother’s voice boomed throughout the Lounge asking the four Nominees (Rory, Cherry, Terrence and Alice) to stand in front of the Eviction Doors, he then requested Nobbi to tell him the name of the person who he had chosen to save from Eviction.
“Who did you save and why?” BB asked.
“You’ve got to look out for an Evil Black Crow,” Nobbi said, “Rory!”
“Rory sit down. You are safe for another week,” Big Brother instructed and then – a shock! – he asked the three remaining Nominees to say their goodbyes to the House. “You are all leaving shortly.”
The HMs on the lounge looked completely stunned. Alice’s eyes filled with tears. Terrence’s face flushed red.
“Al. You are not going!” Brigitte screamed. “No! Why is everyone getting out?”
There were crow calls, hugs and kisses as the three Nominees were ripped from the House. Brigitte looked at Cherry. Cherry looked at Brigitte. The Sexy Surfer shot the Paris Wannabe a brave little smile before he disappeared behind the sliding Eviction Doors.
“My friends!” Brigitte wailed before adding … “And Terrence.”
FNL WINNERS TWIST
“It’s you and me Travis! The crows and the witch!” Brigitte screeched, but it wasn’t going to remain that way for long.
“This is Big Brother,” BB announced. “As a result of Nobbi’s Eviction twist one Housemate is saved from Eviction. Any saved HM must always be replaced by the next Housemate or Housemates with the most amount of points … Tonight there are three of you. If you hear your name, move to the Eviction Door.”
And then came the names: “Brigitte, Terri and Nobbi,” revealed BB. “You are all leaving shortly.”
“What does that mean?” Brigitte gasped. But there was no time to ask questions, as the next three were pulled away from the group. Ben offered to Nobbi, “I love you bro. I’ll see you soon,” as a last goodbye.
JACKIE & KYLE CROSS TO THE HOUSE
“My gosh! It’s such a lonely lounge room!” Jackie observed. When asked what they thought was happening, nobody had an answer. “I don’t know!” Travis said shocked. “Big Brother said ‘Travis have a good evening,’ and I don’t know if that’s symbolic or what that means?!”
Kyle wanted to know how Rory felt considering that the Kombi Man had saved the Brickie from Eviction. “I’m glad he saved me,” Rory lamented. “Of course I’m not glad that he’s gone.”
Meanwhile Ben told the Hosts that he was surprised that once again he is saved from the Eviction chopping block, “I’m not as hated as much as I thought!”
SAVED BY THE ROOM
Led into two different rooms, Housemates were saved one by one.
Eviction Room 2
After a quick chat with Terri, Brigitte and Nobbi, Jackie and Kyle revealed who the first person was to be saved from Eviction: Terri. When she returned to the Lounge Room in the Revolve, she had to fan her face. “I’ve been on a whirlwind,” she breathed.
Eviction Room 1
In the other Eviction Room, Alice had a quick chat with Jackie about how it feels to be Nominated each week. Then the best present a Housemate can get, Jackie telling Alice that she has one more week in the BB House and that she was safe from this week’s Eviction. When she returned to the House, she was full of smiles. “I’m not ready to leave!” she said, relieved.
Eviction Room 2
Back in Eviction Room 1, Nobs and Bridge sat huddled together on the couch. After a few whispered exchanges, the Hosts interrupted their conversation to tell the pair that out of the duo Brigitte had been saved. The Paris Wannabe didn’t quite understand. “What does that mean? I’m staying?” Nobbi confirmed her suspicions and Brigitte returned to the House in a flurry of wild screams.
Eviction Room 1
Cherry and Terrence were sitting on the couch - Cherry’s arm around Terrence – both ready to brace the news together. Jackie opened the envelope to reveal that the next Housemate to be saved was Cherry.
LEAVING TONIGHT …
Two lonely Housemates sitting on the wall but who would be the one to topple? Nobbi or Terrence? The news was all wrapped up in two envelopes. “Please let us keep one,” wailed a distraught Travis. And Travis’ wish was granted.
Only mere metres away, the news was about to be dealt. Jackie and Kyle crossed to Eviction Room Number 2 and then the news, “Nobbi, tonight you are Evicted.” Nobbi nodded, raised himself off the couch and left the Big Brother House forever.
“This is Big Brother,” BB announced to the remaining HMs. “There has just been an Eviction. That is all.”
Terrence was waiting patiently in Eviction Room 1 and just when he started to relax, Big Brother’s voice appeared, “Terrence. It is time to go … back to the House.”
The Housemates waited anxiously on the couch – eyes fixed on the Revolve – as Terrence was delivered back to his new family. And then the news dawned on them – by default - Nobbi must be gone.
And that’s how 10 became 9.
