Buxom Bianca raised many an eyebrow when she first entered the House, especially amongst the boys. Faced with the threat of BB’s first Surprise Snap Eviction, Bianca stated her case before her brand new Housemates.
As soon as Bianca opened her mouth, the Housemates realised she was much wiser than her 18 years – and was determined to make this clear. “"I think it’s important not just for myself — and this might sound like I’m trying to be a preacher — but to show people in Australia that you can be different than a normal, typical, 18 year-old that’s usually stereotyped in our society," she announced to the Housemates.
In the clear, Bianca set about finding her way in the BB House. Not shy of a confrontation or a fiery argument, Bianca also opened up to the Housemates about her dream to find love and live happily ever after. Despite a brief flirtation with ex-Housemate Saxon, Bianca hasn’t found a man to set her heart on fire in the House. Preferring instead the friendly-flirty embrace of Head Boy Ben, who, coincidentally, wasn’t up for starting anything in the House.
Bianca was to find her first source of conflict in party boy Corey, who crashed the House, along with Terri, one week in. The two battled it out until the early hours of the morning, with Bianca disagreeing with what Corey “represented” and arguing he embodied every stereotype she was trying to break.
Struggling to find her place with the girls in the BB House, Bianca spent most of her time mucking around with the boys. Firm friends with Ben, Nobbi, Travis and Rory in particular – Bianca described the dreadlocked lothario as “like a brother” but was undoubtedly connected most to Kombi Van Man Nobbi.
A highlight for Bianca was her makeover courtesy of style king Carson Kressley – an experience which sent her confidence soaring, as Carson urged her to embrace what God had given her.
After Corey’s departure, Brigitte remarked Bianca seemed more “smiley and happy” – and she agreed. But the smile wasn’t to last too long on her dial. Rebecca’s goodbye message set off a cataclysmic chain of events, which saw Bianca labelled a “giant cow” and sent the Italian Princess on a rampage, questioning a lot of the friendships she’d formed in the House.
A bust up with Dixie followed, and Bianca came to the conclusion the problem with her fighting, may just be her. Her intense feelings compounded by the challenge of being in the BB House, Bianca sought solace with Travis, before eventually confessing she really just felt lost.
“But I’m 18, and when they talk to me, everyone forgets I’m only 18,” Bianca declared. “I’m like this lost little kid. I don’t know what I want to do, who I want to be. Everyone has jobs and lives and I’m like I deferred from Uni because I know nothing about myself and decided I wanted to take years off and travel around the world just so I could see what other people do, so I can get an idea of who I am. I’ve got no idea who I want to be.”
See-sawing back to a position of fun friendship with Dixie, Bianca tango-ed up a storm with dance partner Ben. Complete with frill skirt and rose in her garter, the task saw the light creep back into Bianca’s eyes.
The light was ignited even further with the entrance of the House’s newest – and cutest – Housemate Ollie.
But Bianca’s soft side was soon superceded by her angry edge, as the Italian Princess exploded in a heated battle with Renee. Blowing up over the size of her breasts, Bianca defended her right to leave her chest au natural!
After a frosty couple of days, Bianca patched things over with Renners and was able to get away from the House on an exotic holiday in The Dump. While it was hard-going in the rubbish-strewn wonderland, it was a chance to connect (and re-connect) with her favourite HMs: Nobbi, Rory and Ben.
Bianca also made Australian BB history by being the first Housemate to be given a watch as part of the secret Moon Monks task. As Head Monk, she had to recruit and train new members of the Secret Order without the other HMs detecting her confidential extracurricular activities. After a few close shaves, they passed the task successfully.
When Nobbi left it hit Bianca hard and she used the unprecedented blow to strengthen her relationship with her boys. Nobbi’s departure reminded everyone, not just Bianca, how fleeting the Big Brother experience can be.
One person whose BB experience was unbelievably fleeting was Rima and when she entered the House with the news that a mole was living amongst them, Bianca became increasingly paranoid. Her temper tantrum at Rima’s revelation there was no mole was nothing short of scorching. She erupted in anger, broke down in tears and gave BB lip – finally settling down towards the end of the week and seeing the humour of the situation.
Always willing to share her opinion or open a potential can of worms, Bianca never failed to create a talking point or start some controversy in the BB House – and her presence – and cooking - will definitely be missed as this fresh-faced and wise-cracking 18 year old Italian Princess leaves the BB throne.
