Perched in the Diary Room chair – Rory and Ben either side of Terri – the trio looked shell-shocked as Big Brother congratulated them on their achievement and prepared them for their 85th day in the BB House.
“Final Three,” Big Brother addressed his last Housemates.
“Big Brother,” they replied in unison.
“How do you feel?” He asked.
“Ecstatic,” Terri grinned. “Astonished, man,” Ben reeled. “This is crazy.”
“I’m just in shock,” Rory exclaimed. I can’t believe … I thought Terri and Travy’d be left for sure. They were always my two definites and then there were a few constellations along the way, and me and Ben definitely didn’t fall into that.”
“I disagree Big Brother,” Ben intercut cheekily and with his typical wit he added, “I think I’ve always been a very likeable and popular person and it’s no surprise to myself or these other two that I’m in here.”
“I think you know Big Brother, all along I thought Rory would be here,” Terri said proudly of her Brickie.
“We have no clue in other words,” Rory summed up the vibe.
“Big Brother has provided some celebratory beverages,” BB announced before adding, “You might also like to know that the hot water is now on indefinitely.”
A chorus of “Yes! Woo! Oh thank you!” rang around the confines of the Diary Room.
“Heaven on a stick,” Terri sighed heavily.
“I can’t believe we’re so stoked about that,” Ben laughed. “It’s just hot water.”
“And we can go and use a light switch?” Rory enquired gingerly.
“Can we have 2-ply toilet paper please Big Brother?” Ben added to Rorzer’s request.
“You can use as much as you like now Ben,” Terri giggled. “Wrap it around your hand as much as you like, there’s plenty left.”
“Final Three,” BB interrupted their chatter. “Big Brother will be providing some items tomorrow to make your final day in the Big Brother House much more comfortable. Regarding 2-ply toilet paper – no.”
The trio laughed and Big Brother continued, “Is there anything else?”
Before leaving the Diary Room, the trio embraced each other in a group hug. “I love you guys so much!” Ben confessed before teasing, “Who is the final three? Yes we are!”
“Terri,” Rory squeezed the Grandma and then instructed Ben to join with him in giving Tezza a peck.
“On the cheeks,” Terri blushed.
“Thank you Housemates enjoy your very last night in the Big Brother House!” Big Brother declared.
“Thank you Big Brother,” The trio sung in unison.
“That is all,” Big Brother announced, ending their chat.
Later, in the lounge with two bottles and one flute of champagne held high, the Housemates 'cheers-ed' each other, “To the final three!”
“Good luck to everyone!” Rory congratulated his fellow two. “I think we’ve all got an equal chance. Whoever takes it out, I’ll be stoked.”
“Good luck guys!” Terri beamed.
“I’d say roughly we have a one in three chance but we’re gonna have to go out there and make the most of it and try 110%. I wanna see you guys give it your all,” Ben encouraged before the Final Three moved their drinks to their lips and downed their celebratory toast.
