Having just said her goodbyes, the Housemates were still gobsmacked at Renee’s heated warning to trust nobody. But the shocks kept coming as Renee told HMs it was time for a special treat.

Unfortunately for Brigitte – her sweet tooth was about to plucked!

“Housemates, it’s time to deliver my Hand Grenade,” Renee smiled on the plasma. The Housemates looked incredibly nervous. “This week Intruders are protected from the Hand Grenade and I’ll explain why. Original Housemates you are now past the halfway mark for your time in the House, you have survived six weeks in confinement with no contact with the outside world. Well done.

“To mark this milestone, Big Brother has asked your family to send you a personal message. The Housemate Hand Grenade is not always good news, there are 8 original Housemates and one of you will not be getting a message. Housemates, the person I’ve decided to not receive the message is … Brigitte.”

“I want a message!” Brigitte screamed at Renee but the Tom Boy disappeared from the plasma screens with a short and sweet: “See yas!”

“I always get Hand Grenades! Next time I’m voting for Renee. Tomorrow I’m giving her two points,” Brigitte decided, the other Housemates commenting that her plan had obvious flaws. Namely – Renee was no longer with them.

“Why do I get two Grenades? I don’t have photos!” Brigitte continued to shout. “What a bitch! At the reunion, I’m going to have a Saxon and Renee showdown.”

Bianca reasoned with the blonde, trying to make her see some common sense. “She was saying a lot of bad stuff about Nobs just then so he would’ve been the most obvious choice,” Bianca explained. “But if you think about who it would’ve affected the most  - we’ve had conversations before – we’d put it to the person who it’d suit the most.”

“But I’ve already got a Grenade that was my type,” Brigitte rebutted.

“I think she knows more than you think,” Alice theorised that Renee may have secretly predicted that Brigitte would get a message from home at Bridge’s birthday party later this week. “Don’t think she’s a bad person.”

But Brigitte was adamant: “I do think she’s a bad person.”

“She [Renee] was hot-heated,” Rory added in an attempt to console the Paris Wannabe. “She looked angry there man.”

“I never said anything mean about her!” Brigitte protested.

“It’s not about that Brigitte,” Rory replied.

“What is it about then?” Brigitte asked innocently.

“She said from day one you were total opposites,” Rory said. “She probably just rolled with that.”

Brigitte, on the other hand, was not rolling with anything! She went to the Diary Room to give Big Brother a piece of her mind.

“Housemates,” Big Brother said. “How can BB help?”

“I was just wondering why it is fair that I have another grenade thrown at me when I’ve already had one and some people haven’t had one?” Brigitte asked. “I’m the only person who doesn’t have photos of my family and now I don’t get a letter from them.”

“Brigitte, no Housemate will be getting a letter from home.” Big Brother corrected the Blonde. “In point of fact all Housemates – but yourself – will be viewing a heartfelt video message from home.

“Evicted Housemates are given the opportunity to throw their Hand Grenade to any Housemate.”

“So why the hell do I get two?” Brigitte whined.

“Because Renee chose you,” Big Brother answered her.

Brigitte thought about this and then responded, “Well tell Renee she can go to hell please.”

“Brigitte,” BB enquired. “How important is a message from home for you?”

“Very.” Bridge’s lip trembled. “Because they’re my family and it’s my birthday.”

But Big Brother was not flustered by Brigitte’s tears. When Bridge left the Diary Room – all cried out – she let everyone know exactly what she thought of Renee.

“I hate Renee.” Brigitte announced to whoever would listen.

Is this the end of Brigitte’s new leaf? Perhaps she’ll need a new look to help her out of her funk!
