Can we get some more Leos in the House? I mean, there seems to be a shortage! Yes, that is slightly sarcastic, but it never fails to amaze me how many Leos make it into the Big Brother arena. Here we have another one… only this person is very interesting in that while they have classic Leo all over them, they also have some other starry aspects that have created a adult who likes their hermit life, too.
In fact, they would love to create a world of their own, and invite people in from time to time – as long as they don’t try to change them, or the things in their world. That’s what’s making me so fascinated with this character- they will have diamond in the rough charisma and blowtorch glamour and all the Leo qualities (just a little vanity, for example), but they will long to set up a little world of their own that is completely under their control.
So, while their place in the House might be known as party central, they won’t be good at sharing that or creating that with another Housemate. They’ll be looking for ways to keep the riff-raff out of their corner of the world. But it’s not about being mean. You see, they have had some very tough times as a kid, and their tendency, or way of coping was to create a world that they held the keys to, and one that no one could take away from them. That world would ensure their survival against the forces that seemed stacked against them and the people they cared about. If someone, to use an analogy, moves their cheese or mucks about with their place in the House, or their personal stash of moisturiser, hell will be unleashed. While someone else may see it as a joke, they will see it as a threat.
They are very territorial, and has had to be, but they really will be tested in terms of sharing space. I am not saying they’re selfish – it’s a bit more complex than that – but they’re determined to protect themself, and people they care for. But they comes first. All the time. They may not admit it, and you may not see it, because they will help others (they can be good at lifting things and moving things out of the way for example).
But they will not do it if they perceive it will change their world for the worst. So, while they think they’re altruistic, and believe that people can be good, they forget that they never do something without figuring out its impact on them first. They hate and fear the thought of being beholden and won’t share or change -unless you’re very special indeed.
Why they’re there: This stubborn person might crack!
Why they’ll stay: They’re charming and lovable.
Why they’ll go: They’re sooooooo stubborn!
