Why do I see a blank screen, when I try to install Microsoft Silverlight?

If you are trying to view the live stream at work, you may find that your IT department has blocked downloads of the Silverlight plug-in.

You can verify that Silverlight has been installed correctly by visiting the Silverlight site [http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/default.aspx]. If you are prompted to install Silverlight, then your installation is not complete.

Why do I get a continuous “loading…please wait” message

There are known issues with Microsoft Silverlight where you are accessing the internet via an automatic proxy configuration file. Often your work internet connection is set up this way. This is resolved by manually entering in the proxy server in the internet options panel in Internet Explorer (although you’ll need to get your IT department to do this).
